I was first introduced to Arbonne in February of 2006 by a good friend of mine. She was considering a business opportunity with this company and asked me to sample the products and get my opinion. I had never heard of Arbonne before, and wasn't all that into skin care products...I had 2 small children to take care of. The last person on the list to take care of was myself.

But, I wanted to support my friend in her new business venture, and so of course I agreed to try the products. What did I have to lose? After just a few days of using the NutriminC Re9 Anti-aging product I was blown away! My skin felt healthy and wonderful. The dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles around my eyes seemed to be visibly decreased. And other people noticed too!! I thought 'Hmmmm...this company is onto something here'. And so I decided to take a closer look for myself.

Being a former engineer and having been an 'employee' my entire working career, I was a bit of a skeptic when it came to Network Marketing as a viable business option.  So I spent weeks researching the company and the business model. I attended my friend's business launch, and met Regional VP Carrie Carlson (now a National VP). She told us her story of how she started her business with Arbonne, and how she had been able to quit her corporate career in PR and marketing, was making a considerable full time income working part time hours, and she had earned the company car (a white Mercedes Benz) in just over a year. And now she was going to be able to stay home with her twins, who were due in just a few months.  I asked her some tough questions, and was intrigued more and more by what I learned about the company, the products and the business. I have been captivated by the just now exploding business of Arbonne, a 29 year old company that is still experiencing incredible growth.  Our company and our products are widely unknown in many large metropolitan areas. The opportunities are endless!

Since 2003, I had been able to stay home to raise my two small sons (Nikolaus and Alex), but in 2006, I was feeling as though there was something missing from my life...professional stimulation now that I was a Stay-At-Home Mom?  Being properly rewarded for the job that I was doing? the satisfaction of helping others?  the ability to contribute to our family financially?  I wasn't exactly sure how to fill those voids, but I knew that there had to be 'something' out there. And the more I learned about Arbonne, the more I realized that Arbonne was just that 'something'.   Arbonne would allow me the flexibility to work my job around my life, not the other way around. It would afford me the opportunity to bring in a lucrative income without having to go back to the daily grind of a typical 9 to 5 'J-O-B' on someone else's terms. So on April 11, 2006, I jumped in with both feet, and I am so glad that I did!  Not only have I earned two amazing trips with Arbonne (The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas in 2007 and an all-inclusive trip to Moon Palace in Cancun in 2008) along with numerous other gifts and bonuses, but I am now on track to earn the company car - a white Mercedes Benz!
